Correcting a Minor's PAN
For a minor's PAN, the process needs the child's own DOB/identity/address proof plus the parent or guardian's identity and address proof and signature. The card won't carry a photo or signature until the child updates it themselves after turning 18.

- Make sure the spelling on your supporting ID matches exactly what you want printed on the PAN
- Use a DOB-proof document that's unambiguous — school certificates and Aadhaar are the most widely accepted
