Documents you'll need

  • Birth certificate, passport, or school records (proof of identity/DOB)
  • Any one of: Voter ID, marksheet, ration card, driving licence, or government ID (adults)
  • Nativity, residency, or income/community certificate (if required)
  • Parent's Aadhaar card (for minors)

For children / minors

  • Birth certificate or Indian passport
  • Parent's Aadhaar card (father or mother)

For adults (18+)

  • POI - Proof of identity
  • POA - Proof of Address

For NRIs / OCI / foreign nationals

  • Indian passport, or OCI card + OCI passport
  • Proof of address (UIDAI-approved) or a gazetted address certificate
  • Residency Proof: Entry/exit stamps in your passport or FRRO registration records to prove your mandatory 182-day stay in India.
