Documents you'll need
- Ration card
- Gas bill
- Voter ID
- Or a gazetted address certificate (MP / MLA / Gazetted Officer / Tehsildar)
Full list of accepted documents
Accepted proof of address (any one)
- Government photo IDs: Indian passport, Voter ID, driving licence, ration card, CGHS/ECHS/ESIC/Mediclaim card
- Bank/post office passbook or statement (last 3 months), or credit card statement (last 3 months)
- Utility bill under 3 months old: electricity, water, gas, or landline
- Registered rent/lease/sale agreement, or property tax receipt (within the last year)
- Signed address certificate with photo from an MP, MLA, Gazetted Officer, or Tehsildar
